It is currenty 9:00 am in Brisbane 5:00 pm in Calgary. 24 hours ago we were checking in our bags at the Air Canada counter at YYC and saying our last goodbyes. We landed in Brisbane, right on time, at 6:50 am local time. Our connecting flight was at 8:05am. Unfortunately, we had to go through customs, get our luggage, check our luggage ,take a bus to another terminal, go through security and get to our gate. Needless to say, we missed our connecting flight and we are now booked on the 11:00am to Perth, ETA 2:15pm Perth time. Hopefully, we'll still have a driver when we get to Perth. We're currently sitting at our gate contemplating where we should get a cold drink.
As we landed in Brisbane at 7:00 local time, the weather was overcast, 21C and 1000% humidity. I haven't stopped sweating since we landed and everyone's exzema has vanished. The flights went relatively smoothly besides the minor inconvenience of my TV terminal breaking down half across the Pacific and the baby behind us occasionally kicking and screaming.
