Yesterday we managed to get our laptop almost working and we spent a lovely day at Cottesloe beach. The sand is white and soft like powder. We managed to see a couple of cockatoos (oz parrots), some surfers and some sea birds that at first we thought were penguins. It felt like we were on vacation but that comes to an abrupt end today...
Today I start my job. Looking forward to seeing what this will bring. There's a little anxiety and a little excitement. I really shouldn't have watched "Horrible Bosses" on the plane.
Later today we are going to look at some rental properties and possibly some schools. When we were on the train yesterday, to and from the beach, we saw a lot of students and a lot of different uniforms. I don't think Zaren and Cyrus are looking forward to wearing a uniform but Keva's pretty keen. I can't quite imagine it yet.
Hopefully, today is another step forward.
