Oz TV!

Well, we finally got a cell phone working.  It's a cheap, little prepaid phone and $30 gets us 50 minutes.  Hopefully by Wednesday we'll have wi-fi.  Tomorrow morning we have our relocation specialist coming over to discuss renting a home, finding a school and all the other stuff we've had to learn about by ourselves over the last 3 days.

We managed to get a lot done today.  We got the phone working as mentioned.  We made it to the bank and got our accounts set up and received our bank cards.  We also took the free bus to the CBD- Central Business District- what we call downtown.  Once there we walked to my new office building which is a block away from the river and in a really nice location.  Now that we're actually making some progress we're starting to feel a little more comfortable.

Since we've had little ability to do much in the last 3 days we've been stuck inside for the most part and been wasting a lot of time watching TV.  Since Sunday we've seen "The Love Boat", "Quantum Leap", "Family Ties", "Welcome Back Kotter", "The Smurfs" and lots of other 'great' shows from when we were children.  Daytime TV in Australia is awesome!
